I used a rather nice fashion yarn with a high merino content for these slouchies, making them warm, lightweight and very soft.  The yarn has a thick-thin texture and I love the pattern that developed as I was making these - candy swirls came to mind!

48cm (19") around rim, 25cm (10") from rim to crown.

Hand wash or machine wash on wool cycle.  Rinse, roll in a towel and squeeze gently.  Do not wring or tumble dry.  Re-shape and dry flat.
