This scarf is gorgeous. Full Stop. It has a beautiful fan-and-feather section with the main colour picked up in the multi-coloured 'Locks'. These Locks are longggggg crocheted fringes with a lovely bright wooden bead securely knotted on the end of each one.
The whole idea is to wear this scarf in a variety of ways. You can leave the Locks loose and tie the scarf to hang down the front or the back, or you can increase the length of the centre of the scarf by loosely plaiting the Locks and looping them around at the ends to secure. Then wrap the extra length around for warmth. I like to wrap the scarf around my head and arrange the Locks to hang down the back for a chilled Boho/Festival look.
I have used a variety of fibres from wool to acrylic to cotton, to give texture, colour and interest. There are a variety of lovely colours to choose from.
Your scarf won't need a lot of care and attention but it comes with simple washing instructions, so worry not!
